About Me

Hi there. I'm Kathleen Lees.  I'm a freelance writer and editor.

I have a passion for technical writing and medical science, and some of my work has been featured in Scientific American, The Huffington Post, Yahoo News, Live Science, and Columbia University Medical Center Newsroom. I also have a passion for local journalism, and I've written for numerous print publications including the Queen's Ledger, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, and the Columbia-Missourian, among others.

In addition, I love creative copy, and some of my lesser-known work can be found on P.S. I Love You, Thought Catalog, and Rebelle Society.

I am always in search of writing projects, whether it's covering a medical, health, or technological project or a local news story. To get more information on my educational background and work, please see below.
